The daytime tempratures in summer average in the upper
80's to the low90's with the average over-nite low in the mid 60's.
Fall generally arrives around mid-october and the fall foilage
of the Ozarks draws huge crowds with its splendid aray of colors.
Winters
are generally mild here, although a brisk "norther" can
put the chill on for up to a week at a time.
Extreemly cold weather is normally short lived here, as average
January highs run in the 40's. The area receives around 42" of
rainfall yearly and about a total of 12 inches of snow. While the
average date of the last spring frost
is April 15, warm spring weeks get started here by early March, and so does
some of the best fishing of the year.
